When COVID-19 hit our nation, World Emblem converted its manufacturing capabilities to much needed personal protection equipment such as masks, gowns and hazmat suits.
A commitment was made to donate a portion of the proceeds to The CDC Coronavirus Response Fund. This money was used for fast-emerging needs related to the virus.
With the donation period ending on Labor Day, World Emblem is proud to announce that it contributed $23,590 to the CDC this month.
According to company president Randy Carr, “We were fortunate that we had the facilities and capabilities to convert our factories to making products that were in short supply. This allowed us to contribute to the fight against COVID-19 while also keeping our people employed. We are grateful to all who purchased from us and that we are able to make this contribution to the CDC. The fight is not over and we will continue making whatever is needed until this threat has passed.”
