The new Ryonet Vesta forced air conveyor dryer is the cure for all your screen printing needs. It combines BBC proprietary heating elements and a fresh air heat exchanger in a next-generation design that provides a competitive edge in applications from plastisol to pretreating and more.
Instead of using recirculated air, the Vesta channels in fresh air, cooling the outside of the oven and allowing enhanced people- and equipment-friendly operation. This also eliminates inconsistency issues sometimes associated with recirculation as well the rusting it can lead to.
The heat exchanger gets the air to temperature so it is introduced to the chamber without cooling the face of the elements. And as the air is heated, its relative humidity drops, enhancing moisture absorption and making for faster curing as it is forced onto the garment.
In addition, the Vesta’s long-wave infrared allows natural fibers to absorb 100 percent of the heat output, rather than reflecting it, as with short- or mid-wave infrared. A 40-inch heating bank exceeds the 36-inch belt width. Combined with the BBC’s proprietary watt density algorithm, the dryer provides a consistent cure with even edge-to-edge definition.
Other Vesta features include digital heat control with two zones (flash and heat maintenance) for greater flexibility and digital speed control for real-time monitoring of chamber heat. The Vesta also has a TruTrak belt with a silicone bead on the edge that travels in a roller groove, maintaining alignment. An auto shut-off turns off the heat while the belt continues to run until it is cool and shuts off, saving belt wear and tear from overheating.
The Vesta has a 6-foot chamber with 5 feet of heat and is designed to maximize a garment’s time under the heat without susceptibility to temperature swings. It provides 85 percent heat coverage, compared to 50 percent or 60 percent with other technologies. The dryer belt has a 4-foot infeed and 2-foot outfeed. The same unit can be configured to a 1-3-phase with components to accommodate a move or electrical upgrade. MORE INFO
