For high-volume shops that want to take their digital prints to the next level, Brother DTG has added its Extra Color model of the industrial GTX600 mass-production digital direct-to-garment printer.
With the addition of two more ink tanks and print heads dedicated to orange and green inks, the color gamut is increased, and designs have more depth and intensity.
This latest model offers all the same industrial-level printing features of the standard GTX600, including the built-in humidifier, advanced ink system, degassing and white ink agitation, intelligent platens systems, high print quality and speed, plus two additional fifth-generation industrial print heads (six total).
Unmatched in its versatility, the GTX600 has a variety of specialty platens to allow for printing on a wide range of textiles further expanding the machine’s profitability and creative opportunities. Platens go up to 24 inches and are designed for quick changeovers. The platen height is adjustable to ensure the optimal distance between the print heads and the substrate.
The print heads are staggered so the white ink prints first, followed by orange and green with the CMYK as the top layer. The inks are filtered and degassed to support high print quality up to 1,200 dpi. In addition, the built-in air filter helps to control working conditions – even in difficult environments and large production halls.
Brother’s Innobella water-based inks, which are Oeko-Tex Pass and GOTS certified, are designed to have less of an impact on the environment with minimal packaging. Also creating a safer working environment is the built-in ink mist filter.
It is easier than ever before to create high-quality digital prints with a stunning color spectrum and brilliant vibrancy in a mass-production environment. As the GTX series continues to grow, get ready for ongoing innovations that will improve color and quality and allow you to better satisfy your customers.
