The ASI Show today announced an ambitious upgrade to its show floor experience for 2020, including business-building activities, celebrity keynotes and brand-new show floor fun at its three large trade shows,
kicking off January 4-6 with ASI Orlando at the Orange County Convention Center, West building.
ASI Show is also introducing a new show theme, “Discovery Starts Here.”
“We’re shaking things up throughout 2020, helping suppliers and distributors come together to build new relationships and discover new products, new vendors and new partners while having a little fun along the way,” said Rita Ugianskis-Fishman, senior vice president and general manager of ASI Show. “Our ultimate goal is to inspire collaboration while adding even more value to the trade show experience.”
Upcoming ASI shows, including Fort Worth (Feb. 3-5) and Chicago (July 21-23), will continue to attract a broad cross-section of engaged attendees, top suppliers and the latest product innovations from throughout the $24.7 billion promotional products industry.
Highlights at 2020 ASI Orlando include:
- Keynote Q&A with Madeleine Albright, led by ASI CEO Tim Andrews. For a time, Albright, the first female Secretary of State, was the world’s most powerful woman, promoting American trade, business and labor abroad. Now chair of a global strategy firm and an investment advisory firm focused on emerging markets, Albright will share ways she used diplomacy and negotiating skills when dealing with top leaders across the globe. 8:30 a.m., Monday, Jan. 6, Room, W311.
- ASI Bash at Universal Studios Florida. A night of moviemaking excitement featuring numerous rides and attractions, Sunday, Jan. 5, 7-10 p.m.
- Ask Norman. An opportunity for attendees to confer with ASI Chairman Norman Cohn, a business innovator who has played a significant role in the advancement of the promo industry, Sunday, Jan. 5, 1-1:30 p.m. and Monday, Jan. 6, 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m., Connect It area, Booth No. 253.
- Dutch Treat Dinner. Networking dinner at Maggiano’s Little Italy. A chance for suppliers and distributors to network over dinner, 6 p.m., Sat. Jan. 4.
- Selfies with Promo. Social media photo ops with the industry’s favorite mascot, Sunday, Jan. 5, 12:40-1 p.m. and 2:10-2:30 p.m. and Monday, Jan. 6, 1:05-1:25 p.m., Connect It area, Booth No. 253.
- Joe Show Live. ASI’s hit YouTube series, featuring the coolest products in the industry, returns, live, with special suppliers and host Joe Haley, 8:30-9:45 a.m., Sunday, Jan. 5, Room W311.
At all three large shows, ASI experts will demo the latest products and features, including the new Idea Center in ESP®, the industry’s number-one business platform, where distributors can find inspiration for promotions or events and browse a trove of stories, tips and strategies from ASI’s award-winning editorial team. Representatives from ASI Creative Labs will also be available to discuss custom website options. Plus, distributors who consult with an ASI sales pro will qualify for a free professional headshot.
Distributors can also see demos of:
- A sneak-peek at upcoming innovations in ESP Presentations, like a slideshow option when distributors publish a presentation to their ESP Website.
- ESP Websites now translated in French and Spanish, along with ASI’s online Knowledge Base and training videos. A Spanish-speaking rep will be at the show, along with Spanish marketing materials.
Plus, ASI will partner with local nonprofits to donate surplus promotional products to people and families in need after each of its large trade shows. In Orlando, supplier exhibitors can drop off surplus non-perishable items at the designated area adjacent to the exhibitor service until 9 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 6. The items will go to A Gift For Teaching, whose mission is to improve public school education by providing resources and surplus materials free to teachers for underserved students.
Registration is open for ASI Fort Worth, Monday, February 3-Wednesday, February 5, at the Fort Worth Convention Center, with motivational speaker Jesse Itzler; and ASI Chicago, Tuesday, July 21-Thursday, July 23, at McCormick Place, featuring NFL legend Terry Bradshaw.
