ASI Partnered With International Organization To Help Recycle Surplus Trade Show Products

The ASI Show announced that it partnered with an international organization to donate surplus promotional products to people and families in need after its three-day Chicago trade show.

Supplier exhibitors could drop off surplus non-perishable items at the designated area adjacent to the exhibitor service desk between 3-9 p.m. on Thursday, July 11, the last day of ASI Chicago, which started with a full day of free education on Tuesday, July 9.

“ASI Show is happy to do our part to help suppliers in the promotional products industry find a new home for their extra products while helping people in need throughout Chicago,” said Adham Faltas, assistant director of operations for ASI Show.

The products were picked up by the Chicago Salvation Army for distribution. Receipts were mailed if an in-kind donation form was filled out at the drop-off location.

ASI Chicago took place Tuesday, July 9, through Thursday, July 11. In addition to two exhibit days, the show featured free education, numerous networking activities, product demos and two keynotes. The show also attracted 19 distributor meetings, 14 of which are top 100 companies, including HALO Branded Solutions, Proforma, Taylor Communications, Geiger, AIA Corporation, American Solutions for Business, iPROMOTEu, Kaeser & Blair, Safeguard and more.
